Financial aid application opens
Clarity Financial Aid began accepting applications on September 1, 2026.
January 15, 2027
Priority application deadline
Deerfield's priority application deadline is January 15, 2027. All three parts of the Gateway application should be in by then.
February 15, 2027
Tax documents due for U.S. filers
U.S. tax filers with W-2 income must upload those documents to their Clarity application by February 15, 2027.
March 10, 2027
Decisions available
Admission and financial aid decisions are available to applicants on March 10, 2027.
April 10, 2027
Enrollment contracts and aid offers due
Enrollment contracts for newly admitted students are due April 10, 2027.

Late applications: Deerfield will try to consider applications finished after January 15, but cannot guarantee a March 10 notification. Late candidates are limited by the spaces left after April 10.
Gateway to Prep Schools: Applications go through Gateway to Prep Schools, which opened July 1. After the Gateway items are complete, families move to Deerfield's own Admission Portal checklist, which has additional items to complete.
Interview space: The Candidate Profile has to be finished before an interview can be scheduled. Interview space gets tight in December and January, so Deerfield recommends booking early.
Deerfield suggested steps: Deerfield's own timeline: visit from July through September, submit the Candidate Profile (Gateway opened July 1), do the essays in October and November, schedule the interview early, finish testing and remaining items in December and January.
